Sir,
I’d like to congratulate Sinn Féin councillor Kevin Campbell for having the courage to expose the farce of ‘New Style’ policing operating under the guise of the PSNI while behaving on the streets of Derry and around the countryside as the RUC.

Now that the area commander for Foyle admits there are police in his area over which he has no control, does this mean Hugh Orde is now operating a dual system of a RUC political force and a PSNI ‘community’ police service? If this is the position, can Adams, McGuinness and all those Shinners on the Policing Board tell us why they gave their alligence to this and which one they now encourage their followers to tout to? Or will Sinn Féin now act with honour and withdraw their support for sectarian policing as directed by Her Majesty?

Yours,

Brian McFadden
