UFO sightings are quite regular and most sightings involve the object being there for very short periods of time, so it could very well be the real thing here.

This morning (13th May 2008) my father was leaving me at Altnagelvin bus stop to
catch the 5.30am airporter bus. As we approached the roundabout at the top of the link, I looked over to the hospital where I noticed something weird hovering above the grounds of the hospital.
I watched it for about a minute and was about to say to my da to take a look too but it disappeared, thinking I was still sleeping or something I forgot all about it until I read the story online about the spotting of a 'UFO' over Prehen.
I am an absolute non believer but it was a strange thing I saw this morning.

I remember a few years ago a work colleague of mine, her father was videoing her brother on a flying lesson over Derry, on one of the shots there appeared to be a UFO that from I can remember had a similar shape to the one in this photograph although it wasn't as clear. This footage was shown on Channel 9 and possibly the other main news channels, it would be interesting to see if there is any similarities.

Derry 'UFO' sparks global discussion
It could be my father in law's new jacuzzi, he lives there. Mind you as per today's papers (www.timesofmalta.com) and BBC "The Vatican approves belief in aliens".

UFO 'spotted' in Derry
Locals mentioned the roar of engines around about this time about two miles away and asked if I had heard anything, but I didn't. I checked out the location and definitely not a street light. Maybe military? Maybe still a hoax ?
G. Prehen
Hoax. Somebody holding model in position just hidden beyond the window post on the car or tax disc of some sort attached to the window

Attacker boasted about 'knock out' - says witness
I do miss Derry, but reading these kinds of things make me wonder why I would ever want to go back to this. Derry tourism faces an uphill struggle.

I bet the coward who did this thinks he is really hard, picking on some pour soul walking home. Wonder if he fancies three minutes in the ring with a good boxer? Things like this only gives Derry a bad name.

'Time to repent for damage done'
Well done Bishop. I hope the schools will obey the leader of our church in Derry and get on with teaching all the children not just the well-off ones who were tutored for the eleven plus because there parents could afford to pay.

Stream in mass sacking over e-mail content
If people are being sacked for just opening the mail then that's unfair, but if people are forwarding the e-mail, regardless of whether they check the links for child porn then it's fair. How stupid can you be to forward something like that in work!
