Sir,
We visited your wonderful City last weekend for the Jazz Festival. It was our privilege to dance with the Jive Aces and we loved every minute.

This was our fourth visit to the festival which gets better each year. The Jive Aces played nine gigs ov
er the four days and were greeted with a great warmth from all the audiences.

Most of the gigs included the setting up of the Aces' PA system and even stages, and it is a tribute to their road team including Matt, Andy, Gabor and supervised by Vince that events were organised to a military precision.

The band played with their usual inspirational excellence and we are always amazed at their musicianship, showmanship and unfailing energy. Dancing to their music is heaven. I know that Derry is their favourite festival and they are glad to be a small part of bringing a new spirit back to the hearts and minds of Derry. What a great idea it was to initiate the festival and I hope it grows and grows. We will be back next year to meet all the great friends we have made.

Thank you

Ian and Sheilagh Hartley
