Creggan murder 'sickening'
These youths should hand themselves in to a community worker or a priest. Armed murdering hoods who killed an innocent dad to be.
J. Bogside

Shame on those people who permitted these young thugs access to a gun in the knowledge that something like this could happen. I feel so sorry for the family and partner of young Emmett. Questions need to be asked of the PSNI's whereabou
ts that night. Where were they when the first shots were fired hours beforehand?
B. Bogside

The idiots who did this have no mandate from the people of this city. Put your guns away you wasters and give us a break. You are not wanted and are not needed here.
J.D

I am a close friend of Emmett. His murder was a disgrace. All he did was challenge youths who believe they are republicans.

Creggan killing a 'deliberate act', says victim's family
It is terrible that a young man is murdered for no reason other than a cowardly act by a group of cowards all wearing masks.
Jack McKinley, Nottingham

Rest in Peace dear Emmett. You will be missed. See you in Vegas.

As a so called 'Dissident Republican' I find this murder unacceptable. The young person who carried out this murder should hand himself in to a priest.

Priest condemns death threats
There is growing support for the dissidents in Derry City. The police have failed us and the policing boards have proven to be a waste of time.
B. Top of the Hill

Growing support from who? Supporters of 32CSM? The policing boards haven't failed us. Like everything new, they will take time to develop.

McCourt targeted as new hate figure
What makes people so sick to condemn Paddy McCourt for signing for Celtic? Football is only a game that should be used to unite us all to live in a fair and just society.

Save Malin Head Coastguard Station Petition

I would like to support the petition to keep Malin Head Coastguard Station. For many years my father was a lighthouse keeper at Inistrahull and often told us how valuable this station was in supporting many sea rescues.

Raytheon decision could put off investors - DUP

On the contrary, what these people did shows that there are good people in Derry who have a conscience and won't allow mass murder to be planned and designed in our city. They should get an award for this and not be taken to court. It is time Raytheon were pushed out.
