Sir
I write to you because I would like to thank the firemen of Derry. I was visiting Northern Ireland with friends last week.

We were lost and we were desperately searching for a bed and breakfast. They helped us to find one.

They welcomed us with such kindness that I would like to thank them. The Irish people we met were also very kind.
