The Annual Blessing of the Graves will take place in Bocan on Sunday, 29th June at 3 p.m.

A sponsored walk in aid of the Patients' Comfort Fund for Carndonagh Community Hospital will be held on Sunday 22nd June. The walk will leave from Mary Deeney's Bar, Ture at 2 p.m. to McGowan's, Redcastle. Telephone Helen, 9383821 for details.

An Indoor Car Boot sale will take place in the Plaza, Main Street, Buncrana today and tomorrow at 11 a.m. Sellers at 9 a.m. Arts, crafts and all sorts of stalls welcome.

The sudden death has taken place of Steve McGonagle, formerly of St. Boden's Terrace. Sympathy is extended to his fiancee, Laura, his children, Danielle, Connery, Tiaran, his mother, Kay, father, Anthony, brothers, Mark, Gavin, Keith, Kenny, Shane, Pearse, sisters Joanne, Donna, Kerrie, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Ray. Sympahty is extended to the family circle and his friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of hte Assumption, Thornhill by Fr. Kelly, PP. and burial took place in St. Mary's burial ground, Bocan, assisted by Fr. Jim McGonagle, PP Culdaff.
The next Parish Council meeting will take place on Monday, 16th June at 8 p.m. in Bocan Hall.

Good as New shop in aid of Carndonagh Presbyterian Church is behind Mae's in Carn. All donations of clothes will be welcome.
Numbers drawn in the Gleneely F.C. lotto last week were 4, 15, 16, 17 - no winner. 20 euro winners Carmel Donaghy, Glen Kelly, Anna Thompson, Robert McLaughlin and Jim Kelly. Next week the jackpot is 3,650 euro and will take place in the Orchard Bar on Sunday at 10 p.m.
The annual Inishowen Agricultural Society Show will be held in the Showgrounds at Tulnari, Carndonagh on Saturday 19th July at 10 a.m. sharp with the judging of horses, ponies and donkeys. In the home industries there are categories for fruit and vegetables, butter, eggs, flowers etc. Competitions for primary and secondary students. There will be show jumping and a dog show at 3 p.m. The Society has been instrumental in raising agriculture and home industries' skills in Inishowen in the past 90 years.
