Guest tea is the only big fund raising
event which the school is organising this year. it is being held in the Aras on Friday, 27th February. Music will be provided by Shunie Crampsey. Admission is 10 euro and this includes a sit down meal. Tickets will be on sale shortly in all areas. Last year's Guest Tea was very enjoyable and we hope all parents, past pupils and friends of the school will support it this year as the school celebrates its thirty-fifty-anniversary. Participants are required for the action.
Inishowen FAS Sponsored Community Employment Scheme that is due to begin in mid January. The scheme has been in existence for over twelve years and in that time a lot of valuable work has been done both in the community and for the community. Long term unemployed people have been employed by Action Inishowen. They receive valuable training and work experience and do very rewarding work. There will be vacancies for the following people on the new scheme: an administrator, front office workers, environmental workers, caretaker/cleaners, installers, minibus drivers and bus attendants. All of the vacancies are open to both male and female workers and are subject to the usual FAS conditions. Moville and District Mental Health Association is holding a Social in Caiseal Mara Hotel, Moville on Sunday, 18th January, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Afternoon tea will be served. Raffle and spot prizes galore and admission is five euro.
Serenity Active Retirement Members are holding an evening of dancing in Caiseal Mara Hotel, Moville on Friday, 30th January form 9 p.m. to 12 midnight with music by Ed Sweeney. There will be raffle and spot prizes on the night. Everyone welcome and admission is 5 euro.
The Culdaff Active Retirement Group will resume today at the usual time 11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Wee Hall, Culdaff. New members are most welcome. All retired people 55 and over come along for a good chat and a bit of craic. We have a cup of tea, play bingo, cards, dominos, line dancing and carpet bowling.
