Gleneely Colts FC Development big draw takes place tonight in McGrory's Back Room Bar, Culdaff at 11 p.m. with the band "Inspiration" in attendance. Good luck to all the ticket holders.
Forty five card winners in Gleneely last week were Neil McCallion, Kinaroyhead; Hannah McLaughlin, Gemstone Park, Gleneely; Jim Doherty, Terryrone, Moville and Paul McElhinney, Moneydarragh, Inishowen.

uld like to thank the organisers and anyone involved in the New Years Day Swim in Culdaff for donating 3,175 euro. A spokesperson for the group said their commitment to helping children with autism in our community was sincerely appreciated. Many thanks to all.

Congratulations to the March winners of Moville Community School draw. The first prize of 150 euro went to Bernie Anderson, Drung, Second prize of 100 euro was won by Maire McGeoghan; third prize of 50 euro went to Elizabeth Hanlon from Redcastle.

A cancer walk in aid of the Alan Doherty Fund will take place on Sunday the 18th May at 3 p.m. leaving St. Mary's Hall, Clonmany travelling via Binion Tullagh Rusty Nail and back to the Hall for refreshments. The death has occurred in Cornwall, England of Herbert McEldowney, formerly Glack, Culdaff. He was 84 years of age and is survived by his wife Beryl and son Glenn and family in Australia, daughter Susan and family in the USA, also his sister Ruby Carlisle, Lisburn. Sympathy is extended to his many nephews and nieces and his sister Ruby.

Deep regret was occasioned by the death last week of Margaret Doherty formerly of Claggan, Culdaff after a long life of service in nursing. Sympathy is offered to her sisters May and An. Her brothers Benny and Eddie and the wider family circle. May she rest in peace.

Whist Winners in Bocan Hall on Friday night last were 1, Carrie McLaughlin, Culdaff; 2, James McConalogue, Cashel; Gleneely; 3, Betty Houten, Culdaff.Other winners were: Fr. McGonagle, Parochial House, Bocan; Ernie McLucas, Carndonagh; Coney McFeeley, Bunagee, Culdaff; Margaret McGilloway, Malin.

Culdaff 5k and Juvenile one mile road race takes place on Friday 9th May at Culdaff Post Office. Entry fee is 8 euro for 5 k. Five euros for 1 mile races, more details from 086 346698.

At the Carndonagh Community School a parent's meeting on the 8th April has agreed that the Parents Group for the parish would raise funds for the Community School by way of a voluntary envelope donation from parents who have children at the school. Envelopes will be distributed to all areas this coming week. We thank you in anticipation.

Active retirement meeting on Wednesday, 23rd April at 7.30 p.m. in Serenity House, guest speaker Billy Hazlett who will give a talk on fire safety.

The numbers drawn in the Gleneely FC Lotto last week were 9:10:18:24:20. There was no jackpot winner and the 20 euro winners were: Charles Loughrey, Ruskey, Quigleys Point; The O'Kane family, Kindroyhead, Gleneely; Noel Mooney, Effishmore, Gleneely; Mary McCarron, Drumley, Gleneely and Paddy Doherty, Convent Day Centre, Carndonagh. Next week the jackpot is 3,250 and the draw will take place in the orchard bar on Sunday night at 10 p.m.

Gleneely Colts FC annual general meeting will take place in the Club House on Saturday the 17th May.

Congratulations to Culdaff FC Club players John McFeely and Dermot Diver who both played private parts in Inishowen's success over the AUL last Saturday at Caratra as Inishowen qualified for the semi finals.
