A sponsored walk is being organised this Sunday in aid of St. Luke's Hospital, Dublin and the Day Unit of the Oncology Ward in Letterkenny Hospital. The walk will take place from Culdaff to Malin and back via McSheffrey's Bridge beginning at 2 p.m.
There will also be a sponsored walk in aid of the Alan Doherty Fund on Sunday at 3 p.m. The walk will leave St. Mary's Hall, Clonmany and go via Binnion, Tullagh and the Rusty Nail in Cross Connell and back to St. Mary's Hall where refreshments will
be served to all participants. Later that night at 10.30 p.m. there will be music and a raffle in James Tams, Clonmany also in aid of the fund. All sponsor cards returned by that time will be entered into a special draw. More details from Eddie, 9376781 or Breege, 9376391.

Host families are required for Spanish students who will be visiting Inishowen in July and August. Students ages 11 - 16 years will attend school daily in Carndonagh from Monday - Saturday. Host families will receive a weekly allowance of 185 euro. Families without children living outside the Carndonagh area are eligible to apply.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service donation unit is coming to Carndonagh Community School on Wednesday, 21st from 3 - 4.45 p.m. and from 7 - 9.30 p.m. and on Thursday, 22nd from 2 - 4.45 p.m. and 7 - 9.30 p.m. Blood donors are always needed so if you are not a blood donor already please think about coming along to the clinic. If you are already a donor come again and bring a friend.

The underage season is in full swing and all managers are doing an excellent job. The u-18s played their first game of the season and drew 1-1 with the Illies' Conor O'Brien scoring. Culdaff F.C. would like to thank Gleneely Colst F.C. for making their pitch available while floodlight work goes on in Caratra. The committee would also like to thank those who are participating in the voluntary work ongoing in the preparation for the installation of floodlights.
The Play Park committee would like to thank Culdaff Ceili Club for their generous donation of 500 euro which was the proceeds of a recent ceili held in Bocan Hall. This donation was very much appreciated.
