Host families are required for Spanish students who will be visiting Inishowen in July and August. Students ages 11 - 16 years will attend school daily in Carndonagh from Monday - Saturday. Host families will receive a weekly allowance of 185 euro. Families without children living outside the Carndonagh area are eligible to apply.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service donation unit is coming to Carndonagh Community School on Wednesday, 21st from 3 - 4.45 p.m. and from 7 - 9.30 p.m. and on Thursday, 22nd from 2 - 4.45 p.m. and 7 - 9.30 p.m. Blood donors are always needed so if you are not a blood donor already please think about coming along to the clinic. The underage season is in full swing and all managers are doing an excellent job. The u-18s played their first game of the season and drew 1-1 with the Illies' Conor O'Brien scoring. The committee would also like to thank those who are participating in the voluntary work ongoing in the preparation for the installation of floodlights.
