Man found unconscious in Derry city centre

Police are appealing for information after a man was found unconscious in Derry city centre.
A PSNI spokeswoman said the man was found close to the city walls in Magazine Street around midnight on July 2.

She said he was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Police are keen to establish what happened and are asking anyone who was in the area from 11pm (1st) onwards to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

Alternatively information can be passed on anonymously through the 'Crimestoppers' charity on 0800 555 111.
