A local window company has announced that it is to lay off more than half its staff.
Hillcrest Group, which has factories at Campsie and Claudy, has blamed the economic downturn for the loss of 15 of its 23 posts.
A spokesperson for the company said the redundancies were necessary "because of the downturn in the housing market".
Hillcrest Group manufactures windows and other components, such as metal partitions, for new-build homes.
