Summer programmes with the Moville and District Family Resource Centre. Arts and crafts for 4 to 10 year olds, Monday 7th July to Friday 11th July from 10am to 12pm. Drama project for teenagers 13 years +, Monday 14th July to Wednesday 30th July 10.30am to 3.30pm, facilitated by Kieran Quinn from the Balor Theatre. Music and Movement for 4 to 10 year olds, Monday 28th July to Friday 1st August 10am to 12pm.

A dance in aid of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Research Unit will be held in the Malin Hotel on Saturday 21st June. Music by Sharon and Gary Nixon followed by a disco with TJ and the DJ. Moville GAA underage. The under 10's played against Muff last Saturday in Carrick in the Inishowen league. All players participated and enjoyed the day. On Sunday we travelled to Owenbeg to participate in the Derry all county blitz. Thirty three children represented the club allowing us to field three teams. The children all performed brilliantly in difficult weather conditions and won all their games. Thanks to all parents who helped out on the day, your help as always is greatly appreciated. This Saturday 28th June we travel to Malin, bus leaves the club house at 10am, training continues as normal for the younger children.

The Moville Tidy Town committee have called on all residents in the Moville and surrounding areas to get involved in this year's National Summer Clean which will take place on Saturday 7 June; 21 June; 5 July; 19 July; Saturday 2 August; 16 August and 30 August. Once again the clean up kits will contain colour coded bags, gloves, pickers and skips will be provided. All volunteers of all ages are welcome, residents and visitors, meeting up in the car park at the Green at 10.30am. Clean-ups will be held every two weeks throughout the summer.
Names are being taken for a FETAC Level 6 Train the Trainer course which will be commencing in Serenity House, Moville in September 08. This course is for new or inexperienced trainers who want to learn practical skills and useful tips to run their own successful training sessions. This course is also ideal for further and higher education professionals. Participants will gain skills and knowledge about the running of a successful training programme. The course gives the participant an understanding how people learn, strategies to motivate learners in a positive and inclusive environment, communication skills for training delivery and facilitation, practical training methods and structures for effective training.
A flea market will take place in the Plaza, Main Street, Buncrana on Friday 27 June and Saturday 28 June. Arts, crafts and all sorts of stalls welcome. For further information contact 086 3984451.
Serenity House, Moville is organising a day trip to Sligo with a trip on the Rose of Innisfree tourboat to view the Isle of Innisfree situated on one of Ireland's most beautiful lakes, Lough Gill, which straddles Co Sligo and Co Leitrim. For further information contact Serenity House on 9382945.
Moville Celtic FC numbers draw. Winning numbers 2, 16, 21 and 22. No jackpot winner. 20 euro draw winners Phil Tierney, c/o Hughie Kearney; G Smith, Gulladuff; Carmel Barron, c/o Lynott's. Next week's jackpot 1,195 euro. Draw will take place in the Waterfront on Sunday 29th June.
