The May meeting of the ICA took place with President Marion Boon in the chair. Competition winner for the smallest sea shell was Linda McLaughlin. Raffle was won by Bridget McGuinness.
Congratulations were extended to the members who took part in "The Guild of the year competition" which was held in the Radisson Hotel in Letterkenny. The Guild took third place out of a large number of entries which involved seven exhibits of arts,
crafts and produce. The annual outing will take place on 5th June to Stormont Buildings. Mr David Simpson gave a very interesting talk on the work being carried out with the help of many of our young people, on ways to curb underage drinking in our locality. We wish them every success with this very important issue and full marks to the young people involved. The evening concluded with a delicious supper supplied by hostesses Mary Kelly and Mary McGettigan.

Serenity House organised a tour of IOSAS Centre and Celtic Gardens for clients of SRU, Carndonagh. A very enjoyable evening was enjoyed by all. Further outings to this centre will be organised during the summer for other groups from Serenity House.
