It was with great sadness that the people of Greencastle and Moville learned of the death of John Harvey, St Peters Park Greencastle after a prolonged and difficult illness.
John will be sadly missed by his wife Molly, family friends and neighbours. The large number of mourners who attended the house and funeral was an indication of the high esteem in which John was held. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St Mary's Church,
Ballybrack by Father Paddy O Kane PP Moville, who gave a touching sermon on the life of John. The offertory gifts were presented by his grand-daughters Donna, Rachel, Niamh and Kathy. The beautiful music was rendered by Siobhan Philips and choir with a solo from Shaunie Crampsey. . After Mass, John was interred in the adjoining cemetery. Chief mourners were his wife Molly, his sons Patsy and Gabrielle, Greencastle, Gerard and Katrina Moville, Johnny and Claire, Greencastle, Martin and  Gavin, Greencastle. His daughters Sadie and Anthony, Muff, Jennifer and Barr
y, Moville, Ann and Kenny Culdaff. his brother Tommy and Kathleen, Moville, his niece Caroline and David and the girls, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and his many friends. May he rest in peace.
