Redcastle Sports Day will take place this Sunday, 31st May. it is hoped that this year's event will be a successful as last year with the sun shinning.
If anyone would like to contribute in any way to the Sports Day then feel free to offer your help. The more help the better. Any unwanted gifts would be most welcome for the Lucky Dip, or if anyone would like to sponsor it would be gratefully receiv
ed. At the Sports field, please follow any guidance you may be given by the stewards. With food and ice cream on offer along with tea and home-made scones you will not go hungry as you spend the afternoon going around the various activities. A very enjoyable day out is promised for all ages.
All parents take note that the Quigleys Point Youth Club outing to Brunswick Superbowl has been postponed until Friday, 5th June and will not now take place on the 31st May as previously arranged. Bus will leave the Community Centre at 7 o'clock and will return at 10 p.m. All monies and consent forms must be in this weekend.
Congratulations to Catriona Grant and Bernard McConway who won the penalty kick competition which was run by Francis Quigley. Thanks also to Gavin McGarrigle for giving his time to be the goal keeper.
There was no jackpot winner last week in the Quigleys Point Community Centre/RCD Ltd. Mini Lotto Draw. The winning numbers were 2:9:15:19 and the four 15 euro winners were: Amanda Doherty, Three Trees, Gary Grant, Gortanny, Aaron Sweeney, Carrickmaguigley and Charlene Doherty, Tullyally, Redcastle. The jackpot tonight will be 5,600 euro.
Serenity House, Moville are holding an evening of dancing in Caiseal Mara Hotel, Moville tonight from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight. Music by Ed Sweeney. Admission 5 euro with raffle and spot prizes galore.
The syllabus for Feis, Carn Domhnaigh is now available. The Feis will take place this year on 19th June, 20th and 21st. All volunteer help in the running of this weekend would be greatly appreciated. Anyone with a few hours to spare can contact Karen McLaughlin o n 0872987370 as soon as possible.
