Redcastle Sports on Sunday

Redcastle Sports' Day will be held this Sunday, 1st June in Foyle Park, Redcastle.
There will be the usual track and field events. Admission 3 euro for adults and 1 euro for children. Come along to Foyle Park this Sunday for what promises to be a brilliant evening of entertainment and fun.
The Plaza, Main Street, Buncrana will be
the venue for an indoor car boot sale on Saturday June 14th. This event is being organised in aid of the Plaza Project and arts and crafts and all types of stalls are very welcome. Doors will open at 9 a.m. for sellers and 11 a.m. for buyers. For booking telephone 086 3984451 as soon as possible.
A sponsored walk in aid of the Patients' Comfort Fund for Carndonagh Community Hospital will take place on Sunday, 22nd June, leaving Mary Deeney's Bar, Ture at 2 p.m. and going to McGowan's Bar, Redcastle. For further information contact Helen, 9383821 as soon as possible.
There was no jackpot winner last week in the Quigley's Point Community Centre/R.C.D. Limited mini lotto draw. The winning numbers were 1, 5, 7, 21 and the four 15 euro winners were Roseann Porter, Tullynavin, S. McDonagh, Redcastle, Bridie Anderson, Tullynavin and Aine Havlin, Tullyally, Redcastle. The jackpot will be 2,000 euro tonight.
St. Joseph's Young Priests' Society annual pilgrimage to Knock will take place this year on 28th June. This pilgrimage is open to everyone, you don't have to be a member to go. To book telephone Esther Porter, 9374566 or 086 8475971.
Quigley's Point scout leaders are holding an under 13 disco in aid of the Romanian Appeal in Quigley's Point Community Centre tonight from 7.30 - 9.30 p.m. admission 3 euro. There will be a tuck shop. The scouts are also holding their annual Ceili night tonight in st. Mary's Community Hall, Muff from 10 p.m. - 1 a.m. Music by the McElhinneys. Admission 5 euro including supper.
The annual blessing of graves will take place in Drung on Sunday 27th July at 3 p.m. and in Muff on Sunday August 10th at 3 p.m. and Iskaheen on August 10th at 5 p.m.
A car boot sale will take place tomorrow at the Bayview, Redcastle from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Also there will be a band playing in the small bar tomorrow night at 10.30 p.m.
In the Inishowen girls' primary schools league the results were Whitecastle (A) 4, Buncrana (A) 0, Arlene McDermott (4). Whitecastle (B) 1, Buncrana (B) 1, Eimear Crumlish scored for Whitecastle.
