A 33 year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation into the murder of 22 year-old Derry man Emmett Sheils has been released without charge.
The man had been arrested and taken to Antrim PSNI station after presenting himself at Strand Road police station on Tuesday evening.

Detectives are continuing to question a 17 year-old male also arrested as part of the probe.

Meanwhile, a car which detectives believe may be linked to the murder has been discovered in the Ballyarnett area of the city.

It was examined at the scene on Tuesday night by British army technical officers before being taken away for forensic examination.
