A Grand Two Day Sale will be held tomorrow and Sunday from 2 - 6 p.m. each day. All kinds of everything on sale in the Parish Hall, Desertegney.
The hall is located on the Dunree road just five miles from Buncrana. Everyone welcome.
The fabulous Christy Moore with Declan Sinnott will be appearing in the Plaza Ballroom on Thursday, 11th June. Tickets are available from the Plaza, Cool Disks,
Derry and Link2, Letterkenny.
You can hire, completely free of charge, the 'Old Plaza' for parties and you can bring your own food. Telephone 9321657.
The Indoor Market/Car Boot Sale is held in the Plaza every Saturday. Telephone the above number for details if you are interested in taking a stall.
The Sunday Dance will feature Don Rodgers, with dancing from 9 - 11.30 p.m.

The Second Concern Annual Walk up Scalp Mountain will be held this Sunday 31st at 3 p.m. The starting point is Henry Mc Laughlin's farmyard. Last year 130 walkers made it to the top and this year Concern is hoping that many more will take on the challenge and raise much needed funds.
A Sponsored Walk in aid of the Garden Fund, Day Centre, Nursing Unit will be held on Sunday at 2.30 p.m. leaving the Unit at 2.30 p.m. Telephone 9361500 for further details.
A talk, 'Traditional Moral Values and Media Influence' will be given by Bishop Hegarty and David Quinn of Iona Institute this evening at 7.30 p.m. in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel. All welcome.
On Sunday, 7th June the people and priests of the Diocese are invited to lead the prayers and worship at Knock Shrine for the 130th Anniversary at 2.30 p.m. Anyone who has poor mobility or is in need of assistance and would like to participate in the pilgrimage that day is invited to contact the Pilgrimage Office, 04871 260293. The Buncrana Support Group of the Foyle and Donegal Hospices would like to say a very sincere thank you to everyone who supported their fundraising night in the Lake of Shadows Hotel recently. A very special word of thanks to the Lake of Shadows Hotel for making the venue available, to Nicholas Crossan who was M.C. on the night, to Josie Coll, her staff and her flower arranging group who provided all the flower arrangements, to Scoil Mhuire who provided free of charge a room where the arrangements were prepared, to all the businesses for their very generous sponsorship, to the entertainers - The Henry Girls, Jessica McShane, McConomy School of Irish Dancing, Pauline Saunders, Patrick and Danny McCartney and Eamonn, David, Liam, Jim, Rory, Raymond and Dominic who all gave their time free of charge and to everyone who helped in any way who are too numerous to mention. A total of 2,937.20 euro was raised on the night for this very worthy cause.
Greasepaint Productions and Donal Henderson would like to offer their sincere thanks to all those involved in the recently successful production of 'The Sound of the Musicals'. So many people offered their help and assistance and they acknowledge all the hard work and effort of the entire production team, cast and crew, both adults and children who delivered an outstanding show which entertained a large portion of the local community. Artlink, Tullyarvan Mill has developed a new programme of weekend events for teenagers, facilitated by professional artists, DJs and dancers. Buncrana Boxing Club for 8 - 12 years and Ladies 14 plus on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6.30 - 8 p.m. Seniors and Youths 13 plus Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.45 - 9.15 p.m. The fee is 5 euro for 3 nights. In Cockhill Youth Club, Badminton for adults and children has now started on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. in the Hall.

The GAA Lotto plus draw has finally been won. Congratulations to Eoghan O'Donnell who won 6,390 euro. The 10,000 euro is still waiting for some lucky person. The draw numbers were 9, 15, 20 and 24. In the lotto plus the numbers drawn were 7, 12, 25, 30 - no winner here this week.
