Calling all car boot sellers in Inishowen and the Northwest in general. A car boot sale will be held in the Plaza today and tomorrow starting at 11 a.m.
This is a great opportunity for everyone selling anything from a needle to an anchor. It's also a great opportunity for those young entrepreneurs to hire a table between them to sell last years toys and clothes, etc. and make a bit of money for them
selves - many an entrepreneur started off on a stall! Or, indeed a group of friends could hire a stall and try and raise money for their favourite charity. If you have arts or crafts, old jewellery or books a car boot sale is the ideal place to sell them. If you spent all winter knitting, sewing or embroidering then why not put your works of art on sale and see what happens. Maybe there is an interest from the wider community for an indoor venue all year round for those of all ages who have an interest in selling as a hobby or as a way of making extra cash, if so make your views known. Doors open for sellers at 9 a.m. today and tomorrow and tables cost 10 euro.
On your bike for St. Mura's - kind hearted cyclists will be putting their best foot forward when they pedal their way around Inishowen in a bid to raise funds for St. Mura's N.S. Buncrana.
