Are you aged between 16-25 and not doing much on a Monday and Tuesday evenings? The Bytes Cross Border Project is moving to Buncrana after successfully completing a 10 week project in Greencastle and they are looking for recruits.
Activities will include cultural visits, including Stormont, website development, I.T. qualifications, art and design, newsletter work, personal development and paintballing.
The project starts on Monday, 22nd at the Buncrana Youth Club, Castle Av

The Buncrana Credit Union will hold its 36th Annual General Meeting in the Lake of Shadows Hotel next Monday, 22nd January at 8.30pm. All members are invited to attend. There are three vacancies on the Board of Directors and one vacancy on the Supervisory Committee. If you would like to nominate someone you must put it in writing and have it signed by both the proposer and seconder who must be members of the Credit Union. Scoil Mhuire is holding a course called 'Raising Boys for Mothers'. This course is for any mother, step-mother, grandmother or any woman who is acting as a mother figure in a boy's life. It will run for two nights and will start next Tuesday, 23rd January at 8pm and again on Tuesday, 30th January at 8pm. Scoil Mhuire is holding a course for parents called 'Eat Well, Be Well'. This is a coooking course for parents of teenagers and is given by the Dietician from Letterkenny General Hospital. The course started in Scoil Mhuire on Thursday, 18th January at 7.30pm and will run for six weeks. The course was held last year and proved very popular. The Buncrana Pantomime 2007 will present the 'King of Arcadia' an original story by Neil Doherty in St. Mary's Hall from this Sunday, 14th January - Saturday, 3rd February. The evening performance will start at 8pm sharp and the Sunday matinee will begin at 3pm. There will be no performances on Friday or Sunday nights and it will be Bingo as usual. The booking office opened last Tuesday and will be open from 11am - 2pm. and 5-7 pm. Telephone 086 2072496 and 086 2072497. The booking office will be closed on Sundays. Admission is 10 euro for stalls and 15 euro for balcony at the evening performances and 5 euro for children and 10 euro for adults for the matinee performances. It is advisable to book early as tickets sell quickly for this very popular annual event and already all the seats for the last night performance have been sold out. Seats for the last two weeks are also selling fast. Seats are now available from 14th - 20th January, so hurry and book to avoid disappointment.
A dance will be held in The Plaza on Sunday from 4-6pm. Music is by The Country Boys, featuring Maria Boyle, the golden voice of Country. Admission is 6 euro and all are most welcome.
