Confirmation will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cockhill. Good luck to all the boys and girls who will receive the Sacrament.
A weekend workshop, 'Greening with Life' will be held at the Centre for Peace and Reconciliation, Linsfort from 23 - 25 May. Senior dance teachers from Holland, Noor McGuigan and Akbar Helweg will lead the workshop. Fully residential fee is 190 euro,

The proceeds from last year's pantomime, 'Sleeping Beauty' along with donations have more than paid for the new crib in Cockhill. Total income - 47,911 euro, total expenditure, 28,385.66 euro - profit 19,525.34 euro. Thanks to all involved and the surplus from the pantomime has been added to the Cockhill Church Renovation Fund.
A one day retreat to Lough Derg will take place on Saturday 24th May. The bus leaves SuperValu at 8 a.m. and the fare is 45 euro which includes bus, ferry and meals. Telephone 9376573 for more information.
Sr. Eveleen, Loreto House, Linsfort would like to thank Michael Doherty and the Festival committee and all volunteers who took part in the International Flower Festival. Also the designers from England and Scotland whose co-ordinated work made the Festival such a resounding success.
A photo exhibition by Andy McInroy will be held at Fort Dunree on Saturday 31st May at 2 p.m. Andy's exhibition features a series of images of the beautiful granite of Urris as well as a darker look at the old fort buildings of Dunree. For further inromation contact Artlink, 9363469.
A sponsored walk in aid of the Alan Doherty Fund will take place this Sunday May 18th at 3 p.m. The walk will leave St. Mary's Hall, Clonmany and proceed via Binion, Tullagh, Rusty Nail and back to the hall for refreshments. Beach Hill Manor Private Nursing Home is holding a cake sale and coffee morning on 24th May from 10 a.m. - 12 noon in aid of its Residents' Comfort Fund. Your support would be appreciated.
Buncrana Senior Citizens' Commitee is urgently looking for voluntary drivers for the meals-on-wheels service. Meals are delivered on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Drivers are especially needed for Sundays. It only takes approximately an hour and a half and drivers are on an eight week rota system. Please contact Jim Henderson, 9361666
The Country Market will take place tomorrow from 2 - 3 p.m. in the Church Hall, Church Street.
Children from Scoil Iosagain in Buncrana will present a concert to celebrate the many different nationalities within the school. Children from Ireland, Poland, Latvia, Bhutan, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Spain and many more will perform dances, songs and poems from their countries. WeightWatchers will be held next Tuesda 20th May in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel due to the renovations in the Lake of Shadows. First class is at 5.15 p.m., second class at 6.30 p.m. and third class is at 7.45 p.m. New members very welcome.
