North West 10k & Alzheimer Society Donegal Branch Calling all runners, walkers an
d friends to support the Alzheimer Society Donegal Branch which is one of the nominated charities for this year's North West Charity 10K on Sunday 3rd May in Letterkenny. The money raised through the 10K will be used entirely within Donegal. The Donegal Branch provides 75,000 hours per year of home respite and day care, helping some of the families of the almost 2,000 Alzheimer sufferers in Donegal. Daffodil day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society will take place on Friday, 20th March, 2009. The local organisers in Carndonagh are appealing for volunteers to help sell daffodils for an hour or two on that day. We are also looking for people to donate fresh daffodils. The Wesley Hall is offering the following three computer courses Basic one-to-one computers, Basic one–to-one internet and email and digital photography. Fees for courses are 60 euro.
