A retirement function and dance in honour of retiring St.Bridget's NS Glenmakee Principal Mary McGeoghan will be held in the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa Hotel on Sunday 28th June. Buffet served at 8pm.
Music by Shunie Crampsey to follow. Tickets €15 available from G&S Supermarket and Supervalu Carndonagh, Lodge hotel and Centra Clonmany. Everybody welcome.

Blood Donation clinic will take place in Carndonagh Community School on Wednesday 8th July from 3pm-4.45pm and 7pm – 9pm and on Thursday 9th July from 2pm – 4.45pm and from 7pm – 9pm. You could save a life!
A fun quiz is being held in the Persian Bar Carndonagh tonight, beginning at 10pm in support of the Citizens' Against Recycling Charges petition.
Inishowen Tourism AGM will take place on Thursday 25th June at 8pm in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel. Alan Hill will do a presentation on "The Green Box" and Eco-tourism potential of Inishowen. Existing and new shareholders welcome.
Aware Depression Support Group will meet in the Nursing Unit, Maginn Avenue Buncrana on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 7.30pm. The next meeting is on Monday 22nd June.

Carn FC At the recent AGM held in the clubrooms on Sunday 31st May the following officers were appointed. Hon Club President – John Doherty (S), Hon Vice President – Liam Toland, Chairman – Albert Doherty (O), Vice Chair – Brian Breslin, Secretary – Seamus White, Assistant Secretary - Brendan Tabb, Treasurer – Enda Doherty (G), Assistant Treasurer – Kevin Hirrell, PRO – Niall Mc Laughlin (JB) A very successful Carn FC Fantasy Premier League recently drew to a close with the finishing positions and prizes as follows, 1st Colm O'Kane Jr (€500), 2nd Kevin Harkin (€300), 3rd Anne McFeely (€150), 4th Paul Doherty (€90), and 5th Shaun O'Donnell (€50). Carn U18's advanced to the semi-final of the cup with a fine victory away to QPS in Muff on Friday evening. Goal scorers were Conor Keddy and Ryan Mc Laughlin (H). Carn U12 A's played against Illies recently. They won 1-0; Mark Doherty scoring the only goal of the game.
