Council’s festive arrangements

Derry City Council Offices, Strand Road will be closed on Chistmas Eve, Christmas Day and St. Stephen’s Day

The offices will also be closed on New Year’s Day.

Details of the opening hours for all Council facilities including leisure centres, sports centres, museums, civic amenity sites, dog kennels and births, deaths and marriages are all available online at the Council website at www.derrycity.gov.uk/openinghours

Stickers indicating details of bin collections over the festive period have been placed on all bins over the past number of weeks. Details of the bin collections are also available on the website at www.derrycity.gov.uk/openinghours

The Mayor, Cllr Kevin Campbell extending his best wishes to everyone over the festive period, said he hoped Christmas would be a special time for everyone. “I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.”
