Doctor’s surgeries in Derry will be closed next Monday and Tuesday due to the extended public holiday.

Instead, the Western Urgent Care Out of Hours services will provide medical care for problems that cannot wait until surgeries re-open. Their telephone number is 02871 865 195.

Meanwhile people are being reminded to check their medicines to ensure that they have sufficient supplies to cover the extended holiday period. There is still time to order repeat prescriptions from your doctor and to collect your medicine from your local pharmacy. Local pharmacy out-of-hours arrangements will be operating over the Bank holidays.
