The Holywell Trust and Foyle Civic Trust are organising a breakfast-time masterclass on February 8.

It is aimed at local historians, archaeologists, planners, architects, ecologists and generally anyone interested in the historic landscape of the Hill of Derry and the Foyle Valley and will be led by Brian Lacey of the Discovery Programme in Dublin and Dr Liam Campbell of the Foyle Civic Trust

The theme of the masterclass will be about “what are the available sources for understanding the history and landscape of the Hill of Derry/Foyle Valley from 600AD to 1600”

The masterclass runs from from 8.30 am until 9.30am.

Places at the masterclass are free but anyone interested in reserving a place should email carol@holywelltrust.com or telephone Carol Wright on 7126 7997.
