Pioneer Mass this Sunday

The annual Derry Diocesan Pioneer Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. this Sunday, October 7 in St Mary’s Church. Clonmany with the Chief Celebrant being Rt. Rev. Mons Martin.

A large attendance of Pioneers and their friends are expected to assemble from all four deaneries of the Derry Diocese to pray for an increase in Temperance in the use of all God’s gifts and not soley in the use of alcohol.

Prayers will be offered not only for those present but also for all who suffer from any form of addiction, as as for deceased members of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association and their friends.

Refreshments will be served in the nearby Parochial Hall.
