Search for Ireland’s bravest children

Nominations are now being accepted to find eight of Ireland’s bravest children.

Eight children who have shown extraordinary courage and bravery despite their daily battle against a serious illness or disability will receive a National Children of Courage Award when they are honoured at Share a Dream’s Gala Dream Ball.

The event, which takes places on Saturday the December 8 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Limerick, will be hosted by Miriam O Callaghan and Will Leahy and promises to be a magical night where dreams really do come true.

Nominations can be made by completing the application form at www.shareadream.ie.

Children can be nominated by parents, doctors, nurses, relatives by writing a letter detailing the daily trauma, loneliness and fear, which is part of having your child diagnosed with a terrible illness or disability.

All eight children selected will be in for a big surprise at the end of the night, when their fondest dreams come true.
