Special Olympics regional bowling competitions

Brunswick Super bowl will play host to the North West Region advancement bowling day of Special Olympics on Thursday 23rd of February.

The day will see over one hundred and fifty athletes & coaches, from clubs throughout the counties of Derry, Donegal & Tyrone, converge on Brunswick for what could be the first step in reaching the Special Olympics World Games in California in 2015.

In addition, over 30 locals volunteers will help out on the day along with a class of 20 students from St Joseph’s College from Derry

Special Olympics Ulster is a year round Sport Training and Competition to over 2,000 people with and intellectual disability in the counties Antrim, Down, Armagh, Tyrone, Fermanagh, Derry, Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan.

Feel free to call down and see these inspiration athletes in action, with the action getting underway from 10.30am and finishing around 4pm.
