Vintage Tractor run, and sponsored walk!

A vintage tractor run and sponsored walk will take place on Sunday, August 5th from Letterkenny to Carrigans.

According to ‘Good & New’ shop in Letterkenny who say they are trying to raise much needed funds towards purchasing a much larger bus to transport patients to and from Galway, this event needs your support.

A spokesperson for ‘Good & New’, which is there to aid Donegal cancer patients and their families, said: “We would appeal for support for this event. This is a life saving service and really does make a big difference to families hit by cancer. At this particular time this service is vulnerable and the people using it are also vulnerable so a big show of support would be very, very welcome.

“A bigger bus is needed to take cancer patients - and members of their families - to Galway. It is a long journey and anything that can make it more comfortable for those suffering from cancer and/or treatment is to be welcomed.”

If you are interested in taking part in the walk or tractor run please contact ‘Good & New’ at O7491-13437 for further information.
