‘Wild Action Weekend’ at Strathfoyle

A massive hedgerow is to be planted in Strathfoyle this weekend as part of a drive to support wildlife in the area.

Organised by Enagh Youth Forum in partnership with Faughan Valley Landscape Partnership, and involving pupils from St.Oliver Plunkett Primary School and Housing Executive staff, the hedgerow planting will take place this Friday as part of the ‘Wild Action Weekend’ .

Derry’s mayor Kevin Campbell says he hopes as many people as possible will get involved. A litter clean up will also be held in Strathfoyle on Saturday.
