Twenty three workers unhappy about wearing mandatory clothing bearing the Limavady Borough Council logo in English and Irish have lodged a formal grievance to officials.
The issue is up for discussion at a Council Support Services meeting next week, as part of the process.

It is understood the 23 are all men and work in the Technical Services Department.

Limavady Borough Council introduced the bi-lingual logo back in 2003.

For the workers who have complained, the logo is on jumpers and trousers.

The Council spokesperson also said the logo was displayed on what he termed personal protective equipment, including items such as reflective work jackets.
