Eoghan, Dudey (and Santa) to switch on Christmas lights

Dungiven stars Paul McCloskey and Eoghan Quigg hope to dazzle Limavady by switching on the Christmas lights on November 28.
The British and European light welterweight champion and his cousin, a former ‘X Factor’ finalist, will be doing the honours in the company of Santa.

Eoghan will also be switching on the Christmas Lights in Dungiven on Saturday, December 5 at 6pm
at the Community Hall again with a little help from Santa.

’DJ Extraordinaire’, Eugene Kelly, will be at both events spinning a few Christmassy tunes. In addition to this there will be a Christmas Fair.

Other Christmas events happening around the Borough include The Christmas Carol Concert is on Wednesday, 2 December at 7.30pm at the Roe Valley Leisure Centre. Carols, readings and Christmas music by the Limavady/WELB bands and choir and Limavady Grammar School Brass band. Any money raised goes towards the Mayor’s charity fund.

Limavady Drama Club presents ‘Cinderella’ at Limavady High School from Tuesday, 1 to Friday, 4 December at 7.30 pm with a matinee on Saturday, 5 December at 2.00 pm (No Saturday evening performance) Tickets £5 available from Limavady Borough Council offices and McConnell's Shoe Shop, Market Street. On Friday, 4 December Lucille’s Kitchen at Newtowne Square, Limavady, will be hosting a Marie Curie Charity Christmas Breakfast from 7.30am until 9.30am.

The Christmas festivities end with Victorian Carol Singers on Monday, 21 December at 7.30pm on Market Street, Limavady with mince pies, mulled wine and juice organised by the Roe Valley Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
