A Limavady minister has just made history in Northern Ireland running an epic six marathons in six counties in six days, and raising thousands of pounds for charity at the same time.
Running reverend Robert Robb and Coleraine man Peter Ferris - began their joint 314 mile journey by running the Belfast Marathon on May 5.
After that, they covered 26.2 miles daily in races in Downpatrick, Armagh, Enniskillen and Omagh, before finally completing the challenge in Limavady on Saturday, May 10.
The 47-year-old completed each of the races in under four hours.
His best time was from Derry to Limavady, finishing in 3hrs 38 mins.
His fastest mile was 7 mins 35 mins as he raced towards the Roe Valley Leisure Centre, which he said was the "best bit."
"I got that extra push from the people who were cheering and clapping and tooting their horns along the streets," he said.
"We could hear the crowds in the distance. It was absolutely brilliant. It was one of the highlights of my life."
The running duo have raised at least £12,000 for two charities, The Alzheimer's Society and Macmillan Cancer Support.
"It's been wonderful and what has been really encouraging is that it has highlighted the needs of the Alzheimer's Society, because I don't think it's as well known as Macmillan," he said.
Looking back over each of the races, he recalled only wanting to pack it in once, at mile 21 in Armagh.
"It was a hot day and the course was very hilly," he recalled.
Explaining why he didn't give up, he said,
"I thought about the people I was running for, and secondly, it was stubborn pride.
"I didn't want to be a failure.
"For me it was a personal achievement, and that's good enough for me," he added.
Donations for the 666 challenge can be sent to Rev Robert Robb, 2, Rosslyn Close, Limavady, BT40 0WA.
