Drumsurn playpark was recently improved with the installation of new swings.
Sinn Fein Colr. Brenda Chivers said the move was in keeping with her party's election promises to improve youth facilities and in particular play parks.

At the request of the Drumsurn Community Association, Colr. Chivers lobbied Limavady Borough Council to upgrade the play park and a brand new set of swings have now been installed.

Colr. Chivers said, "Providing play parks for all children of the borough is something I feel very strongly about and will continue to lobby council to this end."

Ms. Chivers added: "It is such a delight to see the children lining up to enjoy the swings.

"It was definitely ratepayers' money well spent."
