'Mobile' driver fined

A Strabane man caught using his mobile phone while behind the wheel earlier this year was fined £90 at Limavady Magistrate's Court this week.
Niall Samuel Leitch of 83 Liskey Road, Victoria Bridge, was detected using the hand-held device on the Foreglen Road, Co Derry, on January 17.
When cautioned by police he said: “That’s fair enough.”
Resident Magistrate Eamon King also endorsed three penalty points on his licence.
