A 38-year-old Limavady man has been told it is not acceptable to take more drink than suits him and go out in the dark of night and destroy someone else's property.
Barry Donaghy from Tartnakilly Road pleaded guilty to damaging a window, two concrete statues and a Mercedes car on October 26, 2008.

Defence solicitor Dermot Downey said his client admitted the offences, adding: "It was foolish."

District Judge Eamon King conditionally discharged Donaghy for 12 months in all matters.

"There is nothing on your record to indicate you are a person who would ordinarily trouble the court."

Donaghy was ordered to pay £500 in restitution costs.
