The Public Prosecution Service (PPS) yesterday withdrew a charge against a forty-six years old man from the Culmore area of Derry who was charged with grooming a female child.
Joseph Bourne, of Ardanlee, had the charge withdrawn at the local Magistrate's Court.

However, defence solicitor Kevin Casey said his client would be pleading guilty to another charge of indecently assaulting the female child. That offence occurred on March 26 of this year.

Bourne was released on continuing bail and will be sentenced on November 10 following the preparation of a Pre-Sentence Report.
