Never fished before in his life

A Dungiven man, who claimed he had never fished before in his life, has been fined for using shrimp as bait while angling at the River Roe.
Jason Kealy, of Glenconway Road used the shrimp on November 6, 2007.On the same day he was also caught using a float designed to suspend bait in water.
Appearing at Limavady Magistrate's Court , District Judge Eamon King said considering Kealy had no record and his early plea, he fined him £100 plus legal and court costs totalling £99.
