Strabane teenager on trial for indecent assault

A Strabane teenager charged with indecent assault on a female will stand trial next month in Omagh Crown Court.
The 14-year-old boy, who denies all charges, was remanded in custody when he appeared alongside his mother at Strabane Youth Court on Friday past.

It is alleged that the 14-year-old indecently assaulted a female on May 6th this year. In a separate case, the teenager has also been charged with theft of “biscuits and buns” from a Mace store at Melmount Road Strabane.

The boy’s trial is expected to begin in Omagh Crown Court on October 10th.
