Congratulations to all the girls and boys who made their First Holy Communion last Saturday.

Visit the J.C.M. Hospital Garden Centre for all your summer bedding plants, window boxes, hanging baskets, patio containers, garden ornaments etc. A wide variety of shrubs and hedging has just arrived. Call into the Garden Centre just behind the J.

A sponsored walk in aid of the Patients Comfort Fund for Carndonagh Community Hospital will be held on Sunday, 22nd June. Walk leaving from Mary Deeney's Bar, Ture at 2p.m. to McGowan's Bar, Redcastle. For further information or to request a sponsor sheet, please contact Helen on 9383821.
Inishowen Women's Outreach has received funding from Community Foundation of Ireland to enable it to deliver a training programme to volunteers throughout the peninsula. These volunteers will provide support to women and children who use the services of the group.
Redcastle Sports will take place this Sunday, 1st June in the Foyle Park with the usual array of track and field events. A family day out. Admission is 3 euro for adults and 1 euro for children.

The Annual Lourdes Hospitalite Collection takes place this weekend. This fund is used solely for the purpose of providing medical care and support for people of the Diocese who are sick and wish to go to Lourdes.
A waste plastic collection centre will operate at Carndonagh Mart tomorrow (Saturday). The centre will be open from 9a.m. to 7p.m. More details from Donegal Farm Relief Services, Raphoe.
The Blessing of the Graves in Bocan will be on Sunday, 29th June at 3p.m.
The numbers drawn in the Gleneely F.C. last Sunday night were 1,15,16,21. There was no jackpot winner and the 20 euro winners were Martina Duffy, Benduff, Carn; Dermott Herron, c/o St. Conal's, Letterkenny; Maria Finnegan, Bocan, Culdaff; Georgina Houton, Bunagee, Culdaff and Martin McElhinney, Hilltown, Gleneely. The jackpot is now 3,550 euro and the draw will take place in the Orchard Bar on Sunday night at 10p.m.
