Ten cyclists from Gleneely left the Carrick Bar on a cycle run to Docs in Malin Head in aid of the Alan Doherty Fund. The amount raised was 7, 439 euro. Congratulations to all who took part and to all the sponsors. It was much appreciated.

It was with deep regret that the people of the locality learned of the death of Letta Allan (nee Molly) formerly of Moneydarragh who died in Glasgow last week. Deceased was a member of a well known and respected Inishowen family. She was a regular visitor home and her passing will be sadly missed. Sympathy is extended to her husband, her sons and daughters, in-laws, sisters and brothers, nephews and nieces and all the family circle. May she rest in peace.
