Snowball tonight is 40 euro for 189 or better.

A Mass will be celebrated at the Mass Rock, Altoragh, Ballymagaraghy on Sunday, 23rd August at 3 p.m. Everyone is very welcome.
It is hoped to hold painting and drawing classes at the Carrowmenagh Community Centre from September with a local art teacher. Anyone interested in learning drawing and painting using acrylics can contact us at 0749367251.

Ceili Classes resume in the Wee Hall, Culdaff on Wednesday, 2nd September. Beginners very welcome. Dancing from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission including supper is 3 euro.
The Irish Horse Shoe Throwing Championships were held in Inishowen at two venues on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The horse show throwers from Inishowen Club braved terrible weather conditions on Saturday afternoon to retain their All Ireland Club Title. Incessant rain and a cold breeze meant the weather was always going to be a factor in the outcome at Moss Field, Carndonagh but Inishowen A team came through against their C Team in the final after Inishowen A, saw off Kildare in an earlier round. The action moved to McHale's Field in Clonmany on Sunday where there was more success for Inishowen in the All Ireland Doubles. In an all Inishowen Affair Owen Doherty and Dan Conway beat Hugh Duffy and Eddie O'Donnell in the B Final. The A Final was won by Wexford duo Brendan Earle and Paddy Connors with a 21-14 result. over Michael and John McLaughlin. There was further success for the Wexford duo in the International Doubles category when they defeated John Crossan and Peter McLaughlin 21-16 teams from Clare Galway, Limavady. Wexford and Kildare travelled to take part in this year's Championships. Next years Championships is set to be held in Co. Galway where Inishowen will be going for their third Club Title in a row.
The St. Vincent and St. Paul Annual Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Saturday 12th September. Bus leaving Moville at 7.50 a.m. travelling via Gleneely, Carndonagh, Clonmany, Buncrana and Burnfoot. A sponsored cycle will be held on Sunday the 6th September leaving from SuperValue, Carndonagh at 10 a.m. There will be a few different routes to suite all abilities. Memorial sponsored walk in memory of the late Bronagh McLaughlin, Glasha will be on Sunday, 30th August, from Carndonagh to Malin. This is your opportunity to help a very worthy cause either by getting people to sponsor you or by sponsoring someone who is doing the walk. Your support is needed.
A charity dance in memory of Maureen O'Connor on Friday, 4th September in Foody's Lodge, Quigley's Point. Music by J. R. Country. Dancing 10 to 2 a.m. Tickets are 10 euro and can be got by telephoning 9374725. All proceeds to the patients Home Comfort Fund.
Carndonagh Community School: The Bookshop will be open on Friday, 28th August from 10 a.m. until 12 noon and will not be open the following week.
Carndonagh Vintage and Classic Club are holding their annual Vintage Rally at the Malin Road, Carndonagh on Sunday, 6th September at 12 noon. The numbers drawn in the Gleneely FC Lotto last week were 6:7:9:11. There was no jackpot winner and the 20 euro winners were: Patrick Thompson, Meenletterbale Lecamy; Tony Canturell, Carn; Simon McGrory, Glasgow; Paul McLaughlin, Gleneely; Hannah McLaughlin, Gleneely. Next week the jackpot is 2,550 euro and the draw will take place in the Orchard Bar on Sunday night at 10 p.m. thank you for your support.
Serenity Active Retirement is holding an evening of dancing in Caiseal Mara Hotel, Moville on Friday, 21st August from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight. Music by Ed Sweeney. Raffle and spot prizes galore. Everyone is welcome. Admission is 5 euro.
The Dan McFeely Cup over 35s Football Competitions Semi Final Draw Carn v Moville to be played on Saturday, 22nd at 6 p.m. Carrowmena v Gleneely to be played on Sunday 23rd August at 6 p.m. Final to be played on Saturday, 29th August at 6 p.m. Players to be there half an hour before their match. All funds raised being donated to the Donegal Hospice. Venue for the game is the Warren Home of Carrowmena Football Club.
