St. Mura's Amateur Dramataic Society presents the comedy 'The Lady from Leitrim' by John Craig in Bocan Hall, Culdaff this Sunday at 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, 9th at 8 p.m. in aid of Culdaff Senior Citizens' Committee and the Church of Ireland Committee
. Tickets are 10 euro and may be purchased from Andy Doherty, 9379215 or any committee member, or local shops.

Five card drive winners in Gleneely last Tuesday were Seamus McCormick, Greencastle; Neil McCallion, Kindroyhead, Gleneely; Eddie Duffy, Moneydarragh; Jim Doherty, Terryrone, Moville and Gerard Doherty, Ourt. Cards continue on Tuesday nights at 8.30 p.m.

Car Boot Fun Day - Bocan Hall committee is organising this for Sunday 2nd December in Bocan Hall at 2 p.m. Tables are 10 euro each. Contact Caroline 086 8872073.

Thanks to Martha and Robert Smyth, Cashel for donations they received at their 40th wedding anniversary. The amount raised was 3,000 euro and it has been forwarded to the Donegal Hospice. It was greatly appreciated.

Clonmany Agricultural Show weekly card drive takes place in the Ballyliffin Hotel on Monday nights at 8.30 p.m.

Culdaff and Donagh Church of Ireland are currently running a Good as New shop during October. Donations of clothes, bric-a-brac, etc. will be appreciated.

The Post Leaving Certificate department at Carndonagh Community School is offering a course in Business Administration and Tourism during the academic year 2007/08 FETAC Level 5. Application forms are available from the school, 9374260.

Card playing continues every Monday night at 9 p.m. in the Orchard Bar with tea/coffee served. Everyone welcome.

Gleneely Colts FC held a benefit quiz in the Orchard Bar with 8 tables represented. Spaghetti Junction were the winners with Top Shop, Gleneely and the Quiet Ladies closely following. Bar questions were answered correctly by Alan McLaughlin and Gareth McLaughlin and the quiz was sponsored by the Orchard Bar. Total raised was 237.35 euro. The Colts would like to thank all involved and Darren for the use of his premises.

The whist takes place every Friday at 8.45 p.m.

There will be a meeting on 16th October from 12 noon - 2 p.m. at Inishowen Outreach to discuss how best to promote women's health in the North West. Contact 9329494.

The numbers drawn in the Gleneely F.C. lotto were 2, 3, 14, 24 - no jackpot winner. 20 euro winners: Rose McLaughlin (T) c/o Briege, Simon McGrory, Glasgow, Kathleen Knox, Culdaff, Mary McCarron, Drumley and Paddy Doherty (H) Culdaff. The jackpot is now 1,850 and the draw will take place in the Orchard Bar on Sunday night at 10 p.m.

Colts F.C. monthly meeting will be held on Saturday 13th at 7 p.m. in the Clubhouse. Everyone is very welcome.

A book club meeting will be held on Tuesday, 9th October at 7.30 p.m. in Serenity House.

Below the Belt weigh in work out continues every Tuesday at the Gym, Mart Road, Carndonagh at 8.30 p.m. Aerobics, same day, dame place at 7.30 p.m.

The Alzheimer's Society Donegal Branch is looking for part time carers to look after people in their own homes. Training will be provided. Contact 9722795 for details.

U-10 soccer will finish this Thursday and will resume in the New Year with girls u-8 at 5 - 6 p.m. over 8s should attend for the 6-7 p.m. session.

Culdaff F.C. lotto numbers drawn on Sunday night were 1, 6, 7, 13, 14, 15 - no jackpot winner. 20 euro winners: Packie Doherty, Bocan; Cathal Byrne, Port House, Bunagee; Johnny McGonigle, Greencastle. The jackpot is now 2,050 euro and this week's sellers are Raymond McFeely and Brian harris. The draw takes place in Caratra pub on Sunday night.

Training for both teams continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the new time of 7 p.m.

The first team are at home to Aileach this weekend. They lost 1-4 to Illies last week with Brian McGonigle scoring. The Reserves beat Glengad Reserves 2-0 last week with goals from Patrick and Niall McLaughlin. This week they are away to Dunree with players to report at 9.45 a.m.

The annual membership is now due, 30 euro for senior players and 20 euro for students and non playing members. On payment of membership members will be issued with a new Culdaff f.C. kit bag.

There are a limited number and they will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Brian McGonigle is looking after the first team while Damien McFeely is looking after the Reserves. Membership must be paid by October 31st.

Gleneely Colts F.C. defeated Carrowmena 3-2 last week with two goals from Jarlaith McLaughlin and one from Ronan Kearney. Both teams have a bye this week. The Reserves lost 2-1 away to Rasheney with Shane Diver scoring. Training as usual every Firday night at 6.30 p.m. in Gleneely.
