REIGNING PREMIER Division champions, Porter's extended their unbeaten run to an impressive 19 games after recording a comfortable victory over an under-strength Abercorn on Sunday.
Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Metro secured a 3-1 win over Oxford Colts, Top of the Hill Celtic were made to work hard for the three points against The 720. Brandywell Harps held current League leaders, Bogside Inn to a scoreless draw and Three Flowers won their first game of the season defeating Celtic Swifts 1-0.

In Section One of the First Division Cup Trojans progressed to the semi-finals where they play Lishahally on Sunday next with a 4-2 win over rivals Tristar and Culmore easily defeated Maydown 6-1. Meanwhile in Section Two Crescent outclassed Phoenix to win 5-1 and they now meet Don Bosco’s Youths in the semi-final next week. Both semi-final games will be played at St. Columb’s Park at 11.30 a.m.

Results - Premier League: Porter’s 5, Abercorn 1; Metro 3, Oxford Colts 1; TOTHC 3, The 720 2; Brandywell Harps 0, Bogside Inn 0; Celtic Swifts 0, Three Flowers 1; First Division League Cup, Section One - Trojans 4, Tristar 2; Culmore 6, Maydown 1; Section Two - Phoenix 1, Crescent 5; Downey are awarded a walkover as Abercorn Colts failed to field a team.
