Na Piarsaigh Doire Trasna have re-launched an innovative recycling fund-raising scheme aimed at helping the Foyle Hospice, the club and the environment.
The club is asking anyone with an old mobile phone which is no longer in use to donate the handsets so they can be recycled and help to generate income for the two local fund-raising campaigns.

Noel McMonagle, Community Fundraiser with the Hospice commented, “We are delighted to work with Na Piarsaigh’s GAC on this unique initiative and call on the general public to donate any old mobile phones, irrespective of their condition, to assist in our efforts to raise funds”.

The club have positioned boxes in central locations around the town and the following venues have all kindly agreed to host collection boxes - Foyle Hospice; Post Office Sorting Office, Gt James St.; The Gasyard Centre, Brandywell; Supervalue, Northside Shopping Centre, Shantallow; Pennywise, Rathmore Centre, Creggan; Bradley & McLaughlin Taxi Office, William St.; O2 Shop, Spencer Road Waterside; Centra, Trench Road Shopping Centre, Waterside; Owenbeg G.A.A Centre of Excellence, Dungiven.

If you are interested in participating please take your old phones along to any of these pick up sites.
