DERRY City chairman, Mr. Philip O'Doherty (right) has appealed to all Derry City supporters to purchase their season tickets before the season kicks-off on Friday week.
"Now that our First Division Licence has been sorted, I would urge those intending to purchase season tickets to do so sooner rather than later," he said.

"Obviously, the purchase of season tickets is vital for us and, indeed, impacts on our budge
t so it's important that those who hoped to purchase such tickets claim them this week," he added.
The Derry Board of Directors opted to honour in excess of 400 season ticket holders who pre-paid for their tickets before the end of last season.

Indeed, that gesture cost the current Board in the region of £62,000, money which will come out of the current budget.
"As a Board, we hope to see people returning to support the club this season, possibly people who have not been at the Brandywell for quite some time," continued Mr. O'Doherty.

"I am aware that some people held off until the licensing issue was finalisted and given that we have basically an all local team representing the club this season, also makes a significant difference."
Season tickets are available from the club office in Brandywell Stadium between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. daily.
