Popular Strabane singer Gary Gamble and his band have a date close to home on Saturday night when they play the Du Pont club in Derry.
Gary has been drawing the crowds across the country, and will be showcasing the best of country music as well as 60s’ standards.

“It’s a mix that appears to be going down well just about everywhere,” he said. “We have been working hard lately and thankfully this is paying off. We’re looking forward to playing the Du Pont Club, it is now regarded as one of the most popular venues on the entertainment circuit.”

He and his band have been lined up to appear at several major festivals in this country and in England over the coming weeks.

The success of his recent album ‘Way of the World’ and the reaction to his hit single ‘The Galtymore Song’ has enhanced Gary’s popularity across the board.

While most people are looking forward to their summer holidays, 26 year-old Gary is busier than ever – but he’s not complaining.

“It goes with the territory,” he smiles.
