Aware North West is sponsoring the public lecture, "Depression and Alcohol: A Complex Interaction," on May 15.
Dr. Seamus O’Domhnaill, GP, and a panel of speakers will address the subject at 8 p.m., May 15, at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel in Buncrana. Admission is free and the lecture is open to the public.

Aware is a voluntary, national organisation of interested patients, relatives and mental health professionals who work to assist that section of the population whose lives are directly affected by depression. An estimated 400,000 people in Ireland currently suffer from depression and more than 500 people take their own life each year.
