Blaney raises e10,000 in FAI match

A charity football match organised by local Fianna Fail TD Niall Blaney and John Byrne, of the FAI raised in excess of e10,300 for the Children's Hospital in Crumlin.
A team of Oireachtas members captained by Deputy Niall Blaney was victorious against a team of FAI all-stars/sport media in the charity match which was played in Dublin at the start of the summer.

Deputy Blaney got the Oireachtas side off to a winning start with a goal in the first half from 40 yards out and his side won by a decisive 3 goals to 1.
